Sophie’s is the best wedding cake I’ve ever had. I experienced their cake at a friends wedding first and knew that Sophie’s had to make mine. I didn’t look at any other bakery, it was THAT good. The entire process was easy and Sophie and her staff could have not made it a better experience.
I ran by yesterday for cake sample flavors, and I left with four little boxes of yum. We sat down last night to try them, and were wowed by all of them. That carrot cake? Best I’ve ever had. The lemon cake we nearly came to blows over. But the chocolate?? We saved that one for tonight because it needs to be savored, possibly with a glass of red wine. These cakes make you want to forget the calorie count— Sophie and Emma were so friendly and kind, and the cakes were all moist, even though they were samples from the refrigerator and freezer. Now for the hard part—choosing the cake, filling and frosting.
Sophie's Bakery did an incredible job creating the wedding cake of my dream! Not only was it beautiful, it was so delicious. The communication was great during the whole ordering process as well. PS. Do not mind the icing error in the photo. We had tiny fingers take an early taste test.
My mom ordered a cake from Sophie's for our elopement in Fredericksburg this past November. The pick-up process was easy and the cake turned out beautifully and tasted delicious. To be honest, I'm not much of a wedding cake person myself, but had two pieces of this one and they were very tasty. Everyone who attended our very small post ceremony dinner loved it!
I highly recommend using Sophie’s Bakery for your wedding or bakery needs. We sent Sophie our ideas that we found online and she was able to make them look better than we imagined! Not only did the cakes look amazing, but they tasted amazing too. We have heard non-stop from our guests how great the cake was!
Great service and delicious cake! We had a mini cake done for 40th birthday inspired by the messy cake the fairy makes in Sleeping Beauty. It came out perfect and we were all thrilled. We did the spice cake and the flavors were on point. Included picture of the cake made and two inspo pics that were provided. Would definitely order from again!
Our wedding cakes from Sophie's were beautiful and tasted delicious!! We received many compliments. You cannot go wrong ordering from her. We showed her Pinterest pictures of what we envisioned for both the bride's and groom's cake, and in reality, they were even better than the pics! She's an absolute artist and will customize your dream cake. Communication with her office was easy and quick as well! If you are looking for a great Hill Country vendor, we highly recommend Sophie!
Sophie’s cakes are always the best!! Every single flavor I’ve tried has been incredible. I’m not sure I could choose a favorite, but I highly recommend the cappuccino buttercream & raspberry filling. You truly can’t go wrong here!
Buy the cake!! We had our daughter’s wedding cake and desert bar made from here!! It was the best cake ever! We took the recommendation from our venue Hoffman Haus and they were spot on. Sophie’s is easy to work with, great price and so yummy! No dessert was left over.
I highly recommend Sophie’s Bakery. I ordered a chocolate cake with expresso filling and icing as well as a dozen white cupcakes and it was all delicious! All the guest raved about them. The customer service was awesome and they gave me recommendations which helped a lot. Here is a photo ( i added the toppers myself). You will be very happy with your product
